The 2009 Toyota's are here!! The new line of 2009 Toyota automobiles promises to be one of the most driver-friendly fleets yet. During design stages for the new models Toyota focused on expanding interior space and adding premium upgrades to standard packages. In order to overcome the criticisms regarding frustrating driving positions in past models, Toyota also implemented a new telescoping steering wheel. The 2009 Toyota Camry, Corolla, and Matrix all benefitted from the emphasis on passenger luxury, as each model features its biggest interior yet. The 2009 Camry is the largest version ever manufactured, so don’t be fooled by its midsize car classification. Passengers sitting in both the front and rear will notice considerable more space to stretch out, which could effectively eliminate any arguments over who sits where. The 2009 Camry also bulked up under the hood, coming equipped with a 268-horsepower V6 engine capable of launching this sedan to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds. A more powerful engine doesn’t necessarily translate to diminished fuel efficiency, as the V6 model rivals the mpg rate of the four-cylinder Camry. While the 2009 Toyota Corolla didn’t experience any growth from front to back, or from top to bottom, this new design does feature a wider interior from side to side, which affords passengers more hip and shoulder clearance. Drivers will also experience a more comfortable seating-driving arrangement, behind the addition of a telescoping steering wheel. Other new features on the 2009 Toyota Camry include auxiliary audio input, keyless startup and real-time traffic updates via a modern navigation system. The 2009 Toyota Corolla also comes equipped with a revamped engine. The traditionally praised fuel-efficient 1.8L four-cylinder engine is still in tact, but with new variable timing technology for the intake and exhaust valves. This allows for quicker acceleration without sacrificing gas mileage. Similar to the 2009 Toyota Corolla, the 2009 Toyota Matrix comes stocked with the new telescoping steering wheel, as well as an increased seat-track travel. This combination results in a better driving position, which naturally increases driver satisfaction. Toyota also scores big with its impeccable control layout, where every button and knob seems perfectly placed and at the tip of your fingers. The 2009 Matrix also features a taller, deeper back bench capable of folding completely flat in 60/40 sections. See our entire inventory of 2009 Toyota's here.
