My 2025 Tundra Hybrid's engine seized in the middle of Nebraska driving back to Chicago and I had to have the truck towed to a dealership in Nebraska, which obviously was not Elmhurst Toyota where I bought the truck brand new. They honored their advertised price, did not push me to make a deal, did not pressure me to buy anything I did not want to buy. The salesman was pretty knowledgeable about the vehicle. I did purchase one extra item, the extended warranty, not because they pressured me to, but because I wanted one. I am not sure I got a great deal on the extended warranty, but I did think that the price of the car was very fair. I used their financing, and the loan terms they were able to offer were reasonable.
Elmhurst Toyota respects the customers' time and the knowledge they would have walked though the door with. There was absolutely zeeo dreaded dancing about price negotiation, both the vehicles in stock and valuation of the trade in were incredibly fair.
Abe and Jack were great. Both were knowledgeable and explained the car and warranty information. I will go back and buy another car with Abe and McGrath.

This company knowingly damages the engines and transmissions of Toyota vehicles. I paid for a transmission oil change twice. I had my 3rd gearbox oil change done by a private mechanic I'm a car mechanic and when I saw what he let out of the automatic transmission No one has ever changed the oil, it's a smelly black liquid. I paid $390 plus Tax twice. And in doing so, they robbed me twice and knowingly reduced the life of my transmission.

In what should’ve been a seamless process turned into a pretty lengthy ordeal.
Came in to check out a 2025 Tacoma that they list there were two available on the lot. Turned out they only had one available in the lot since the manager has the other in his possession.
Salesman told us there was no budging with pricing. Salesman made at least three trips to sales floor manager. Sales manager did not even leave his desk to come and talk to my wife and I about pricing.

On March 28th, I visited McGrath Elmhurst Toyota to purchase a brand-new vehicle. I initially worked with Melissa, who seemed to promise a smooth transaction. I was interested in an SE Hybrid, but since it wasn't available, Melissa offered me another vehicle that was listed as "for sale but in transit." Bought a used Tacoma in January, felt like we got a fair deal, met Edgar Martinez; Younger gentleman, Not your typical car salesman, not full of xx. Edgar worked closely with me, built the exact trim level and accessories I wanted; he did not push anything extra on me. Dealership was transparent with the pricing from day one. Yes I paid MSRP, but nothing extra, they did not push anything, no dealer installed options, and no market adjustment. ( I did wait 2 & 1/2 months, but I got exactly what I wanted)

My issue began after leaving with the vehicle and driving it for a day. The Bluetooth microphone never worked. I couldn’t make calls, couldn’t give voice commands, couldn’t do anything that required me to speak to it. I visited this dealership on on7/29/24 and left with my dream first car. My salesperson Dave, was very knowledge and nice, not pushy what so ever. Made my first car purchase memorable!
This is a nice modern medium-sized operation located very conveniently for me. I did my shopping online and they had a used car I wanted in inventory at a price I expected so it was a pretty easy sale for them. My salesperson Dave and the other staff were knowledgeable and efficient. I have not yet used their service department so I can not rate them.
Salesman Edgar Martinez was great and everything was great. Everyone at Toyota dealership was great.

We were lucky enough to work with Aleksandar (Alex) Knezevic when recently purchasing our car at McGrath Toyota, and he really helped make it an easy, straightforward experience. Alex answered all of our questions and was patient vs. pushy, and his humor made what is an inevitably stressful purchase much less so. I recently bought a 2023 Camry from this dealership and am just now learning how dishonest they were. They claimed the car was a loaner car for a Toyota dealership which is why it said "commercial" on the carfax. I got the title today and it was in fact owned by a company that rents cars to ride share drivers (Uber, Lyft, etc). Had I known this I wouldn't have purchased it.

A bit of a longer than usual wait but thorough service and quality outcomes, total customer satisfaction.
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with my Toyota service. Mainly miscommunication and lack of knowledge on my part. But went for a regular service $116 and ended up with a $542 bill and that's with a discount. Added on services that they had recommended, but staff was not clear that it would cost 200 extra just on labor for fuel injector cleaning. Just want to warn future customers so they don't feel scammed as I did.
Well the first thing is the prices for an oil change. It went sky rocket compare to what it used to be. The is nothing special about it either. So it’s okay nothing special. So only because the name you are paying more now.

I went here for the 100K mile service check on my 2013 Camry Hybrid. Francisco Gallegos (service center rep) was great - plain and forthright in explaining the details. No condescending BS to try to sell more service work than your ready for. The prices are high. Don't kid yourself in thinking the dealer service center is a bargain ($80 oil change, $34 tire rotation, $212 coolant flush, $280 transmission flush, $140 bulb replacements, $50 tire nail patch made for a $800 day w tax). I still appreciate the courteous staff and low-pressure culture.

It is so difficult to by a new car right now because the inventory is so low. We had to pay $3550 over MSRP which we had no choice to negotiate. It was for add ons we did not want.
My mistake was NOT paying attention to the financial details as I should have! The sales representative was unknowledgeable about the EV vehicle and has NEVER responded to any of the emails sent. To that point neither has the new vehicle sales manager that entered a gentlemen's agreement after the fact to correct the Internet Price offered and manually signed. Worst professionalism, rude arrogant people in parts depth I've ever had to deal with. I received an item which was completely different from what was advertised. The coffee is good, but the service isn’t. I went to Elmhurst Toyota for a six month oil change. Upon arrival at 10:50 it took a few minutes before I was acknowledged and a few more before I was helped. Please note that the customer service that we consistently receive from David has been phenomenal. Most recently he assisted my wife during a recent flat tire situation and price matched from a local competitor. On numerous occasions he has been responsive and follows up with phone calls and messages.

Wanted to post a case of "upselling" or unneeded repairs I experienced today, 8/25/2022 at Elmhurst Toyota, Illinois. The sevice advisor was led to believe my Pruis front brake pads were worn out and it was "metal to metal" contact. I have been going to Elmhurst Toyota exclusively since I bought my used 2013 Prius, and then my new 2017 Prius there. Everyone there is helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. Yesterday was a very busy day in the service department, but nevertheless everyone answered all of my questions and treated me with patience and respect. I noticed all the customers there were treated with that same approach. And I have to give a shout out for their Porter service! I have never used it before but it is an amazing bonus to everything else at Toyota Elmhurst!
