The 2019 Park Palooza happens at Berens Park on Saturday, August 24 from 5-10 p.m. Last year’s Park Palooza was a great success, and we’re sure this year will be even more fun!  Many of the members of the Elmhurst Toyota team plan on attending this event to check out the amazing music, delicious food, and to treat the kids to an evening of family fun.

Park PaloozaPark Palooza is free, except for the food. This year, Park Palooza brings two more exceptional bands to the stage at Berens Park:

  • The Doors of Chicago will play from 5-7 p.m. The Doors of Chicago are the country’s favorite Doors tribute band. They have performed at venues all over the United States. If you’re a fan of The Doors, you’ll love The Doors of Chicago.
  • Run Forrest Run will take the stage from 7:30-10 p.m. Run Forrest Run is the ultimate ‘90s party band, bringing hits of that decade back to life. Make sure to wear your dancin’ shoes, because these guys will have you dancing under the stars.

While there are many activities for adults, Park Palooza also features several children’s events, including face painting and arts and crafts. Bring your appetite, as there will be a great selection of food trucks on hand for this event, including Barbeque Jim’s Catering, Cupcakes for Courage, Grill Chasers, Kimmer’s Ice Cream, Mario’s Cart, Piko Street Kitchen, Smallcakes, Tamale Spaceship, Toasty Cheese and Windy City Ice Cream. They’ll be serving tasty meals and snacks that the whole family will enjoy, including kid-tested favorites like pizza, grilled cheese and cupcakes. Adults can enjoy the beer and wine garden.

All the facilities at Berens Park will be available while the event is taking place, which means you can enjoy the miniature golf course and batting cages.
