Bizarre History of Illinois: Strange Stories From Our Past features more than 100 newspaper stories from the state’s history hidden from view and buried for over 100 years. You’ll never think the same way about Illinois history again.

Paranormal enthusiast Chad Lewis is a researcher, author and lecturer who has written over 20 books on the supernatural. He spent the past 25 years scouring the globe looking for unique and weird stories and historic tales. His travels have taken him everywhere from Wisconsin and New Orleans to Guatemala and Transylvania. Lewis has given presentations at schools, libraries and private events. He collects stories from eyewitness accounts, newspaper archives and historical societies.

Lewis has been featured on TV shows such as William Shatner’s “Weird or What,” Discovery Channel’s “A Haunting,” ABC’s “Scariest Places on Earth” and “Monsters and Mysteries in America,” as has been the subject of numerous radio interviews.
