Celebrate Summer’s End at Rock the Block Party

All of us here at McGrath Elmhurst Toyota are look forward to the annual Rock the Block Party. This year, the end-of-summer celebration takes place at Elmhurst City Centre on Friday, Sept. 9, and Saturday, Sept. 10. The free, fun, family-friendly event features 10 incredible bands to help you dance the night away.

Rock the Block PartyThis year, Rock the Block Party includes meals and snacks from 14 City Centre restaurants. You’ll find menu items ranging from fine dining to fast/casual. The stores will be open, so you can shop during the event.

Friday’s schedule opens with School of Rock Elmhurst at 4 p.m. There are plenty of activities for the children at Kids Zone, which begins on Saturday at 11 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Lunch, dinner and snacks will be served up by the City Centre restaurant booths on the street. The party concludes at 11 p.m. on Saturday.

You’ll love the lineup of the best bands in the Midwest that will keep you partying through the night. So, pack up the kids, head over to Rock the Block Party, have a tasty meal, and enjoy the music!

The local restaurants participating in this event include 100 South, 151 Kitchen, Armand’s Pizzeria, Ever Onward/Kindred, Francesca’s Amici, Kilwins Elmhurst, Mata Ne New Asian, Ni Hao, Nu Crepes, Pazzi di Pizza, Pilot Pete’s Coffee & Treats, Poke Burrito, Primos Locos, and Victory Meat & Seafood.
