Check Out Potpourri by the fotoMuses – Elmhurst Toyota Dealer
Visit the Elmhurst Art Museum’s EAG Gallery in February for Potpourri, an exhibit by the fotoMuses. The 15-woman group of photographers from Chicagoland has put together a show that reflects their different photographic styles and artistic sensibilities. Although the exhibit is somewhat of a potpourri, the different works blend together to form a coherent whole. Elmhurst Toyota appreciates the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild and we encourage everyone to come out and see this exciting new show and support our local artists and photographers.
Potpourri has no official theme, but the rule for the exhibit was to allow the members’ inner muses to express themselves freely. Artists who will be exhibiting work include Anne Frantzen, Barbara Work, Cheryl Rausch, Delta Greene, Diane Bruno, Janice Henry, Joan Kalmanek, Joan Ladendorf, Joan Trushin, Joanne Barsanti, Judy Kinal, Linda Markese, Marita Blanken, Marjorie Reichart and Noriko Buckles.
Visitors can view Potpourri at the EAG Gallery at the Elmhurst Art Museum from February 2-28, 2020. The opening reception is on Friday, Feb. 7, from 7-9 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
The Elmhurst Artist’s Guild is a not-for-profit organization that runs the EAG Gallery, which features contemporary art in many different media and styles. The EAG hosts four member shows every year, plus individual exhibitions and invitational shows for noteworthy local artists.
