The second floor of the museum is now an interactive exhibit that transports visitors to various periods of Elmhurst history. The exhibit is a great way to discover the ways our city has changed over the last 165 years. By All Accounts: The Story of ElmhurstBy All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst features interactive displays, rare photographs, cutting-edge graphics, and lots more. Visitors can view an informative documentary on the history of Elmhurst at the exhibit’s mini-theatre. The History Spotlight in the second-floor hallway has an entertaining feature about the Glos family and Glos Mansion.

By All Accounts: The Story of Elmhurst is open during the museum’s regular hours:

  • Tuesday through Friday: 1-5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1-5 p.m.

Admission:
Free. The museum is currently open in accordance with State of Illinois Department of Health guidelines. Visitors must make online reservations. Make a reservation at https://bit.ly/2MTlm4w.

Museum visits are currently limited to one hour, with a maximum of five people per group and 15 visitors each hour. All museum visitors must wear a mask over their mouth and nose for the duration of their visit, use the provided hand sanitizing stations, and maintain social distance of at least 6 feet at all times.
