Elmhurst Symphony Presents ConcertoFest!

The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra (ESO) presents ConcertoFest! on Jan. 28 and 29, 2023. This exciting event takes place at Union Church of Hinsdale on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church on Sunday at 3 p.m. The program promises to be a dazzling display of skill and artistry. It features an array of accomplished musicians, including oboists Naomi Bensdorf Frisch and Andrew Nogal, theorbist Brandon Acker, violinist Jasmine Lin, and guest concertmaster and violinist Emi Tanabe. The concert will feature an eclectic mix of music composed by Bach, Dall’Abaco, Telemann, and Vivaldi. We at McGrath Elmhurst Toyota are great fans of the ESO. ConcertoFest!If you’re looking for an evening filled with musical brilliance, ConcertoFest! is the perfect event! It’s a chance for virtuoso musicians to take the spotlight and showcase their abilities while the orchestra provides a dynamic background. Each one of the accomplished soloists brings their own unique style and skill to the stage.

The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to welcome back violinist Jasmine Lin, who wowed audiences with her performance in 2019. In addition, the ESO is excited to introduce Brandon Acker, who will debut as a soloist, playing the theorbo, a rare and beautiful instrument from the lute family.

Joining these talented soloists are Naomi Bensdorf Frisch and Andrew Nogal, both oboists from the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra, as well as guest concertmaster Emi Tanabe on violin. This performance promises to be an afternoon to remember!
