Enjoy the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Baroque Showcase’ – Elmhurst Toyota Dealer
The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra continues the season with its performance of Baroque Showcase. This concert will be presented at two venues. The first performance will take place at Oak Brook’s Mayslake Peabody Estate on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 2:30 p.m. The second concert will be presented at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church on Sunday, Jan. 23, at 3 p.m. At Elmhurst Toyota, we’re continually impressed with the exceptional musical talent in our community. We hope you have a chance to attend one of these performances by the ESO.
Baroque music is a style of classical music that was popular from about 1600 to 1750. Led by Music Director and Conductor Stephen Alltop, Baroque Showcase features works by Handel, Bach, Vivaldi and Telemann, who are some of the most well-known composers of the Baroque era. The performance of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto is underwritten by a gift from Elaine Libovicz.
