Fun for the Family at Park Palooza

Park Palooza returns for another year of fantastic music, food, and children’s events. The fun starts at 5 p.m. in Berens Park on Saturday, Aug. 20. If you’ve been to this event before, you know it’s a great family event. Here at McGrath Elmhurst Toyota, we look forward to Park Palooza every year. We know it will be an enjoyable time for the family.

There’s no charge to attend Park Palooza (except for the food). If you attend, you’ll enjoy the fantastic bands, Elmhurst’s favorite food, and plenty of children’s activities. Two exceptional bands will headline the 2022 Park Palooza:

• Gen Fuze takes the stage from 5-6:30 p.m. This high-energy Chicagoland rock band will get the crowd dancing with a set that features everything from classic rock to hits of today.
• The Student Body is scheduled to play from 7-9 p.m. This Chicago-based cover band will transport you back to high school days with music that ranges from the ’80 to today. Put on your dancing shoes and rock!

Park Palooza features several events for kids and adults. Children can enjoy the carnival games, airbrush tattoo artist, inflatable obstacle courses, and balloon twister. The area’s favorite food truck will be on hand with dinner and snacks. Enjoy cuisine from Dope Sandwich, Small Cakes, Da Pizza Dude, Flyin Hawaiian, Serna’s Grill, Guapo Taco, Sugar Mama’s Mini Donuts, Popify Pops, and Windy City Ice Cream. They’ll dishing out delicious fare for the family to enjoy. Adults can buy drinks at Elmhurst Brewing Company’s beer garden.

Bring the family to Park Palooza on Saturday and catch the summer’s end fun. You’ll have a fantastic time!
