Have Fun at Road Trip Virtual Trivia Night

If you love a road trip (and who doesn’t), join the folks at the Elmhurst History Museum on Friday, August 7, for an evening of fun at Road Trip Virtual Trivia Night. This online Zoom event allows teams to compete while celebrating the museum’s Great Midwestern Road Trip exhibit. Teams will vie for first place in three rounds of trivia. Topics include geography, movies, music and lots more! At McGrath Elmhurst Toyota, we think this will be a fun evening that’s both entertaining and educational.

Space is limited to 10 teams, with up to six players per team. Players can get a 10% discount on take-out from Pints in Elmhurst by using the code: AreWeThereYet?

The Road Trip Virtual Trivia Night is presented in conjunction with the museum’s Great Midwestern Road Trip exhibit, which runs through Oct. 11, 2020. This exhibit takes you on a nostalgic trip through the classic Midwest summer vacation between the end of World War II and the 1970s. You’ll discover the vacation areas visited by Chicago area families, and you’ll explore the tourist traps, roadside attractions, restaurants and resorts they encountered. The Great Midwestern Road Trip includes vacation photos, videos, scrapbooks, road signs, souvenirs, travel gear and more. You can even take a 1940s vacation personality quiz and play road trip bingo.

• Road Trip Virtual Trivia Night takes place on Friday, August 7, 2020, 5-7 p.m.
• The Great Midwestern Road Trip runs through Oct. 11, 2020, during regular museum hours: Sunday, and Tuesday through Friday, 1-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
