Movie in the Park Presents Lightyear – Elmhurst Toyota Dealer

The Elmhurst Park District invites you for a screening of “Lightyear” at Movie in the Park on Friday, July 14, 2023. This event starts at 7:30 p.m. at Wilder Park. Admission is free, and food will be available for purchase from Serna’s Grill and Spoon Burger food trucks. At Elmhurst Toyota, we appreciate this annual summer movie series. Movie in the Park“Lightyear” is an engaging, fun-filled animated movie from Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Part of the beloved Toy Story franchise, the film offers audiences an entertaining journey into the backstory of Buzz Lightyear. The narrative unfolds as Buzz, along with his commanding officer, Alisha Hawthorne, and their new recruit, Featheringhamstan, investigates signs of life on the unknown world T’Kani Prime. As events transpire, Buzz Lightyear finds himself stranded on this foreign planet, forced to outwit an army of ruthless robots commanded by Zurg, who are after his fuel source​.

Released on June 17, 2022, “Lightyear” is a fun-filled movie that runs for 1 hour 45 minutes. This film, directed by Angus MacLane, captivated audiences worldwide. Angus MacLane, Matthew Aldrich, and Jason Headley wrote the story and screenplay. The film boasts an all-star voice cast, including Chris Evans, Keke Palmer, Dale Soules, Taika Waititi, Peter Sohn, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, and Mary McDonald-Lewis, each bringing their unique talents to create an unforgettable viewing experience​.

Together, they are thrilled to bring this unforgettable outdoor movie experience to the community.
