Polar Bears at Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal – Elmhurst Toyota Dealer

It’s almost time for the final virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal event. You’ll have the opportunity to look in at the animals at the zoo and learn about their habits. The next program takes place on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. It features the polar bears, live from the zoo’s Walter Family Arctic Tundra. Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo AnimalThe Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal programs allow participants to discover animals from one of the zoo’s approximately 200 species. This Zoom event is led by Mike Murray, who currently oversees the species and keeper teams at Regenstein African Journey, Walter Family Arctic Tundra, Pepper Family Wildlife Center, Kovler Seal Pool and Farm-in-the-Zoo. He’ll lead the talk and explain everything you’ve ever wanted to know about polar bears, including their habits, diet, care requirements and personality traits.

The event will begin with a short introduction, followed by a 20-minute presentation and a 10-minute question-and-answer session.

Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal is suitable for all age groups. Revenue from the event will support Lincoln Park Zoo’s various conservation initiatives and local education programs.
