March 25th, 2024 by

The Elmhurst Park District invites families to an unforgettable morning of joy and community spirit at the annual Egg Hunt. Set against the backdrop of the scenic Berens Park baseball fields, this event promises a fun-filled experience for children aged 2 to 10, along with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. The event takes place on Saturday, March 30, with two timeslots available: 8-9 a.m. and 9:30-10:30 a.m. At Elmhurst Toyota, we know this will be a great time for children and parents alike.

Egg HuntChildren can dash across the fields, collecting eggs filled with surprises, while parents cheer them on and capture the joyful moments. Don’t forget to bring a basket for all those found treasures! After the hunt, families can enjoy a variety of tasty treats from local food trucks, including Serna’s Grill, Hello Boba, and Flyin’ Hawaiian.

For both timeslots, the event kicks off with a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, followed by time to explore the food trucks and prepare for the hunt. The egg hunt will start promptly, with participants lined up and ready to race for their colorful prizes.

The excitement continues beyond the egg hunt. At 11 a.m. Berens Park will host the Doggie Eggstravaganza, a delightful twist where the furry members of the family can join in the fun. No registration is required for this segment, but please ensure your dog is on a non-retractable leash, vaccinated, and tagged.

Advance registration is required for the Egg Hunt, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Secure your child’s spot and be part of this cherished Elmhurst tradition.
