Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal

Take a virtual visit to Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo at Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal. This event features a personal look at the animals living at Lincoln Park Zoo. The program for Saturday, July 11, comes live from the Pritzker Family Children’s Zoo and features American black bears and red wolves. At McGrath Elmhurst Toyota, we appreciate the efforts our local institutions are making to provide virtual events for the community, including the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Each Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal program looks at some of the animals from the zoo’s nearly 200 animal species. This Zoom event is led by Dan Boehm, Curator of the Small Mammal-Reptile House at the Children’s Zoo, who will inform participants about the zoo’s American black bears and red wolves, including their diets, habits, personality traits and care requirements. The event will begin with a short introduction, followed by a 20-minute presentation and a 10-minute Q&A.

Future programs include the Waterfowl Lagoon with the Chilean flamingos on July 25, the Robert and Mayari Pritzker Penguin Cove with the African Penguins on August 8, and Walter Family Arctic Tundra with the Polar Bears on August 22. All revenue from the event will be used to support Lincoln Park Zoo’s state-of-the-art animal initiatives, worldwide conservation efforts, and local education programs.

Virtual Meet-and-Greet a Lincoln Park Zoo Animal is appropriate for all ages. After online registration, participants will receive a link to view the Zoom event within two hours of the start time.
